Platinum Roofs began in 1986 as T.R. Roofing, Inc., a flat-roofing company founded by Tom Ream and built on generations of family roofing experience. The early company focused on flat and low-slope roofing systems, including EPDM rubber roofing, while building its reputation through detailed installation and dependable service.
In 1994, Joe Crispin joined the company as an installer and business apprentice. After working alongside Tom Ream and learning both the field and business sides of the company, ownership transitioned to Joe and the company became Platinum Roofs.
Today, Platinum Roofs continues that foundation while providing a broader range of residential roofing, commercial roofing, leak remediation, and exterior services for coastal and inland Sussex County properties.

Platinum Roofs began in 1986 as T.R. Roofing, Inc., a flat-roofing company founded by Tom Ream and built on generations of family roofing experience.
