Platinum Roofs was originally founded in 1986 as T.R. Roofing, Inc., a flat roofing company built on generations of family roofing experience. From the start, the focus was simple: deliver quality craftsmanship, treat customers fairly, and stand behind the work.
In the early years, T.R. Roofing earned the trust of property owners throughout Delaware by introducing advanced roofing systems such as EPDM rubber roofing - long before these solutions became common in the region.
In 1994, Joe Crispin joined the company as a trusted installer and business apprentice. After several years working closely with founder Tom Ream, ownership transitioned to Joe, and the company was renamed Platinum Roofs - marking a new chapter while maintaining the same commitment to quality and service that built the business.
